Margaret McAteer (née Carrigan) grove

If roses grow in heaven

please pick a bunch for me.

Place them in my Mum's arms

And tell her they're from me.

Tell her that I love and miss her

And when she turns to smile,

Place a kiss upon her cheek,

And hold her for a while.

Remembering her is so very easy,

I do it every day,

But there is an ache within my heart,

That will never go away.

Your wee lassie

Farewell Mum, but not farewell With all my fondest thoughts of you; Within my heart they still shall live And they will always comfort me. Margaret x William x Tam x James x

Mum, Like a silent Tree, its soul unseen, you watch over me as once you had been. Like branches and leaves spread to give shade your love shelters me and will never fade. I love you just the same! Your wee lassie Margaret x
