William John Clarke's memorial grove
Born Green Island, Northern Ireland 1937. Died Ottawa, Ontario, Canada 2007.

A grove of trees in the Scottish Highlands

Bracknalea, the Clarke acreage in the Carp Valley, is bordered on the north by cedar; on the south, by a red pine plantation; and on the east, by poplar growth bordering the family motor bike track. To the west, across Spruce Ridge Road, is wild mix of conifers. Boysie loved this setting - refreshing, yielding a sense of freedom. His wife Janet, feels fortunate to continue living in this location.

Boysie's sense of humour, amusing storytelling, good cooking, and kind-heartedness will be remembered.
