The Iain Sutherland Grove will be a permanent link to a Country much loved and missed.
Donated by Hilda Sutherland
13th October 2014
Dr Iain Sutherland spent his childhood holidays roaming the highlands of Scotland. As a young man, trout and salmon fishing were a passion and he was at his happiest walking a highland stream or fly fishing the Scottish lochs. It is here that his real 'heartland'can be found. Having emigrated to Australia in 1966 with his wife Hilda and children Alasdair, Kirsty and Neil, this grove will be his continuing connection with the land he loves.
Iain's children and grandchildren will continue to develop the grove as a link to the heritage they appreciate and enjoy.
