A Grove of trees in the Scottish Highlands
Piers's Grove of Atonement
Piers Barnes-Sherwood

The UK has lost more of its original forests than pretty much anywhere in the world and when forests disappear so do whole ecosystems. This makes it all the more important to preserve and regenerate them wherever possible so what Trees For Life are doing is incredibly valuable. On a more personal level I hope that this little grove will help to atone for at least some of my carbon emissions.

The trees in this grove will be carefully planted in protected sites in the Scottish Highlands where they will create homes for wildlife and forests for the future.
